Key Responsibilities:

  • To work with the Chairperson and Board to lead the on-going development of the Youth Zone strategy and plan.
  • To generate and deliver a robust funding plan, which will enable the Youth Zone to operate with an appropriate level of reserves.
  • To play an active role in the fundraising efforts as a key figurehead and high-profile figure in the campaign.
  • To establish a vision and inspire the team - helping them to be effective as individuals and together; supporting them to deliver a wide range of ever-changing and improving activities for the young people of South Bristol and surrounding areas.
  • To work with other service providers, community and youth sector partners, generating added benefits for young people.
  • To demonstrate the OnSide Youth Zones Network Values and have a clear commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leadership and management, with experience in the charity sector. They will be able to inspire and motivate a team, and have a deep understanding of the needs of young people in the community. They will also be able to develop and implement a robust funding plan, and work effectively with stakeholders to achieve the organization's goals.
