Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 basic
An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join a prominent residential developer as a Land Acquisition Specialist. In this role, you will report directly to the Land Director and will be responsible for identifying and securing land opportunities in the Yorkshire region while collaborating with the existing team.
The ideal candidate will possess 12-18 months of experience in land acquisition, showcasing a proven track record in sourcing and purchasing land. You should be highly ambitious and eager to enhance your development and planning expertise under the guidance of a highly regarded Land Director.
This organization is known for its dynamic and entrepreneurial culture, providing you with significant autonomy to advance your career and successfully acquire land.
We are looking for candidates who may currently be in a land buyer role seeking career progression, established land managers looking for new challenges, or development agents wishing to transition to the developer side.
Key Qualifications
- Degree qualified, preferably in a property-related field
- 12-18 months of post-graduation experience in residential property, ideally with a house builder
- A natural deal maker with a consistent history of land transactions
- Proven experience in sourcing and acquiring land in the Yorkshire area
- Currently employed by a national house builder, high-profile investor, or agency
- In-depth knowledge of the planning application and appeals process
- A robust network of contacts within the land agency sector
- Determined, driven, and ambitious
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
