Housekeeping Team Leader

At Unite Students, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you'll be responsible for ensuring our properties are clean, safe, and welcoming for our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and lead a team of housekeepers to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across our properties.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve any issues or concerns related to cleanliness or safety.
  • Provide training and support to housekeeping staff to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inventory, and staff performance.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of leading and motivating a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
