Job Title: Academic Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at CV Library. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing key stages of our developments, ensuring that our construction projects meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Developing QA Policies and Procedures: Establishing and implementing QA policies, procedures, and standards that align with our company's best practices.
  2. Quality Planning: Developing quality plans for construction projects, including defining quality criteria, inspection and testing protocols, and quality assurance checkpoints.
  3. Quality Control: Overseeing the execution of quality control processes throughout the construction project lifecycle, including monitoring workmanship, materials, and compliance with specifications.
  4. Vendor Management: Evaluating and selecting reliable vendors and suppliers of construction materials and equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
  5. Training and Guidance: Providing training and guidance to construction teams on quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  6. Risk Management: Identifying potential quality risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, such as conducting risk assessments, implementing preventive measures, and addressing issues promptly.
  7. Quality Inspections and Audits: Conducting regular inspections, audits, and quality reviews of construction activities, processes, and deliverables to verify compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements.
  8. Document Control: Managing documentation related to quality assurance activities, including maintaining records of inspections, test results, non-conformities, corrective actions, and quality assurance reports.
  9. Non-Conformance Management: Investigating non-conformities, defects, and quality issues, and leading efforts to implement corrective and preventive actions to address root causes and prevent recurrence.
  10. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives, requirements, and expectations. Facilitating clear and effective communication regarding quality-related matters.
  11. Continuous Improvement: Monitoring quality performance metrics, analyzing data trends, and identifying opportunities for process improvements and quality enhancements across projects.
  12. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, standards, regulations, and industry certifications applicable to construction projects.
Requirements:
  1. Extensive experience operating in a QA role in the Construction industry, ideally with a Residential Developer / Main Contractor with a residential element.
  2. Ability to produce Quality Management Plans and enforce them.

We offer a competitive salary of between £60,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus a package including car allowance, pension, healthcare, 26+ days annual leave, and other benefits.
