Assistant Domestic Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Domestic Manager to join our team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing a large team of domestic staff, ensuring that cleaning standards are maintained to the highest level. This will involve monitoring cleaning schedules, conducting regular audits, and implementing improvements as necessary.
You will also be responsible for managing the domestic services budget, ensuring that costs are controlled and that the service is delivered within budget.
In addition, you will be required to work closely with the Infection Control team to ensure that all areas of the hospital are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of domestic staff to ensure that cleaning standards are maintained to the highest level.
- Monitor cleaning schedules and conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement improvements to cleaning schedules and procedures as necessary.
- Manage the domestic services budget to ensure that costs are controlled and that the service is delivered within budget.
- Work closely with the Infection Control team to ensure that all areas of the hospital are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who has a proven track record of managing domestic services in a healthcare environment. The successful candidate will have:
- A relevant qualification in a field such as hospitality, facilities management, or a related field.
- Experience of managing a team of domestic staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and protocols.
