Join our team at PDA Search and Selection Ltd as we seek an experienced Area Cleaning Manager to lead our cleaning operations in small format retail stores across the Home Counties area.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and organized individual to manage the cleaning services for up to 23 small format convenience stores. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that cleaning operations are delivered to the highest standards, while also managing costs and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the cleaning operations for up to 23 small format convenience stores, ensuring that cleaning services are delivered to the highest standards.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of cleaning staff to ensure that they are equipped to deliver excellent cleaning services.
- Manage costs and ensure that cleaning operations are delivered within budget.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement corrective action as required.
- Carry out regular cleaning audits to ensure that cleaning services are meeting the required standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in cleaning operations, preferably in small format retail or food retail.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
- Proficient in IT, with experience of using Excel, Word, and Email.
- A full and valid driving license and the ability to travel daily.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary, company car, laptop, mobile phone, and bonus potential. The role is full-time, permanent, and 40 hours a week, 5 days out of 7, predominantly working Monday to Friday, but with occasional Saturday work.
