Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting in classroom activities under the guidance of the educator
  • Helping to prepare instructional materials
  • Providing individualized support to students needing extra assistance
  • Overseeing students during recess and ensuring their well-being
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive educational atmosphere
Essential Qualifications:
  • At least GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
  • Relevant experience working with children or adolescents
  • Effective communication skills with students, educators, and guardians
  • Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail
Educational Background:

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

Experience Requirements:

Previous experience in a comparable role within an educational environment

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of child development and educational methodologies
  • Ability to cater to diverse learning styles and requirements
  • Proficiency in educational software and technological tools
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and capacity to collaborate within a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • First Aid certification
  • Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Work Environment:
  • Primarily classroom-based
  • Full-Time hours during academic terms
  • May include outdoor activities or educational trips
  • Occasional attendance at parent-teacher meetings or training sessions

All stated pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This role is temporary, with potential opportunities for permanent placement in the future.
