About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Tax Manager to join our team at Doncasters Group. As a key member of our tax team, you will play a crucial role in supporting various projects across the UK, US, Europe, and Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Advisory: Provide detailed tax advice on corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and international tax issues. Identify tax planning opportunities and risks, and manage processes such as WHT, R&D credits, and support Transfer Pricing initiatives.
- Tax Compliance and Reporting: Assist in reviewing year-end tax provision accounting, review and prepare corporate tax returns, ensure compliance with tax legislation, and timely submission of required documents. Assist with tax audits.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other functions to deliver comprehensive tax solutions, support Tax Managers/Director across various workstreams, and assist in developing and delivering internal training programs.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with changes in tax legislation and best practices, enhance current processes and systems, and contribute to developing and implementing new processes for improved efficiency and service quality.
