About the Role:- Ensure the company conducts business processes in compliance with laws and regulations, professional standards, and accepted business practices.
- Uphold the ethical integrity of the organisation and ensure business activities are conducted using a regulatory framework of policies, procedures, and systems.
- Monitor and report on regulatory requirements, briefing the Exec Team on any changes or updates.
- Review and update the company risk assessment on a regular basis, collaborating with the Exec Team to monitor the risk profile and adapt the risk assessment accordingly.
- Carry out regular audits and prepare reports for the Management and Exec Teams, using strong monitoring, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve and streamline compliance processes, enhancing customer experience, employee experience, and efficiencies.
- Establish, monitor, and maintain a regulatory framework of policies and procedures.
- Prepare and review the Company Risk Assessment on a quarterly basis, identifying and implementing changes with the Exec Team.
- Ensure the Exec Team and Management Team are aware of their regulatory responsibilities and the risks and consequences of non-compliance.
- Design and implement audit and reporting procedures to monitor the regulatory framework and enable effective control of business processes.
- Fulfil the role of Data Protection Officer, Nominated Person, and effectively undertake duties as set out by relevant regulatory bodies.
- Degree educated in a relevant discipline or an AML-related qualification.
- 5 years' experience gained in a Risk & Compliance environment, ideally within a financial services or property-related industry.
- Expert knowledge of Data Protection and Consumer Protections legislation.
- Expert knowledge of AML regulations and KYC/KYCB.
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to interpret data and produce reporting.
- Intermediate PC skills in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
