About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 2nd Line Infrastructure Technician to join our team at Interface Recruitment UK. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our end-users, ensuring that our IT systems and infrastructure are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide second-line technical support and assistance to end-users, resolving issues and escalating complex problems to senior technicians or the Infrastructure Manager as necessary.
  • Manage and maintain our IT systems and infrastructure, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, and Office 365.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure that IT solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in IT, and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
Requirements
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in IT, including Windows Client Server operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, and Office 365.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with end-users, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of pride and teamwork.
  • GCSE IT (equivalent) or higher preferred, with any IT industry qualification, MCSA / CCNA, or further/ higher education qualifications.
