Company Overview:
Vertu FM is a distinguished facilities management contractor, renowned for delivering comprehensive building maintenance services across the UK. We are currently experiencing growth and are seeking a dedicated mobile engineer to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • This position primarily focuses on HVAC maintenance but encompasses additional light maintenance tasks.
  • You will travel to designated sites, serving as the primary contact for planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical and electrical (M&E) services, along with general building maintenance. Duties may include emergency lighting checks, fire alarm servicing, lamp replacements, basic plumbing, and fabric repairs.
  • Conduct PPM and reactive maintenance for HVAC and air conditioning systems.
  • Work independently, taking charge of planned and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks. You should be capable of performing a variety of other maintenance duties as required.

Candidate Profile:
  • HVAC qualifications are essential - Level 2 and F Gas certification.
  • Experience in executing PPM and reactive maintenance tasks is required.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of mechanical and HVAC maintenance, alongside general facilities management trades.
  • Local residency with a willingness to travel within the region.
  • Proficient IT skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • A valid UK driving license is mandatory.
