  • Act as the application architecture domain expert in information gathering with stakeholders, providing technical guidance and expertise.
  • Support Social Security governance activities and contribute to the development of architectural strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Build a deep understanding of the business and digital strategies to identify suitable solutions that drive business value and improve client experience.
  • Analyse options and recommend the most appropriate approach across different environments, considering factors such as scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Provide guidance on technology best practices and continuous improvement, ensuring that application architectures are aligned with industry standards and best practices.
  • Produce application architecture deliverables and collaborate with cyber security colleagues to ensure the security and integrity of application architectures.
  • Review technical proposals from external suppliers to ensure they meet business requirements and technical standards.
  • Work in an agile, multi-disciplinary team environment, taking an open and collaborative approach to working and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
  • Support colleagues with application architecture expertise, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the success of the team.
  • Contribute to the development of an Application Architecture Practice that aligns with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Act as a consultant and communicator between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
