Enterprise Architect

LSA Recruit is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team in Glasgow, UK. As a key member of our IT leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the organization's IT architecture roadmap, aligning IT architecture with business strategies and objectives, and conducting technology assessments and feasibility studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain the organization's IT architecture roadmap, align with business strategies and objectives, conduct technology assessments and feasibility studies, and identify emerging technologies and their potential impact on the organization.
- Architecture Design: Design and document high-level IT architecture blueprints, define standards, guidelines, and best practices for IT architecture, ensure consistency and interoperability across IT systems, and model and analyze complex IT systems.
- Technology Governance: Establish and enforce IT architecture governance processes, review and approve IT projects and initiatives, and ensure compliance with IT standards and regulations.
- Solution Architecture: Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define solution requirements, design and document detailed solution architectures, evaluate and select appropriate technologies and vendors, and oversee the implementation of IT solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to IT teams, stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, and ensure the effective implementation of IT solutions.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of IT architecture concepts and methodologies.
- Experience with various IT technologies and platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of business processes and industry best practices.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CITA, CITA-P) are often preferred.
