Job Overview

As a Reporting Analyst at TVS SCS, you will play a key role in providing business analysis and continuous improvement in a reporting context. You will work on a large Utilities contract for a customer in the energy sector, primarily using PowerBI to produce customer and internal facing dashboards that support operations teams and ensure contractual reporting to customer stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain PowerBI reports and dashboards to support business decision-making
  • Research and develop new technologies, AI, and predictive analysis to improve reporting processes
  • Generate and maintain client report suites using PowerBI and Excel
  • Continuously improve, develop, and streamline reporting processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Liaise with end-users to provide high-quality, meaningful data and insights
  • Collaborate with the IT department to develop a robust and effective Business-Intelligence infrastructure
  • Produce Excel-based data analysis, manipulation, and summarization
Requirements and Skills
  • PowerBI experience is essential, with a strong understanding of data modeling and visualization
  • Able to build datasets into meaningful tables and summaries, with a focus on data storytelling
  • Familiar with coding-type syntax, including Excel formulae and VBA
  • Able to understand customer needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements
  • Eye for visual data presentation, with a focus on creating engaging and informative dashboards
  • Aptitude for problem-solving, with a logical and methodical approach
  • Able to work under pressure, manage workload, and meet deadlines
  • Advanced Excel skills, with a focus on data analysis and summarization
  • Proficiency in VBA and/or SQL, with a strong understanding of data manipulation and analysis
  • Report production and analysis experience, or similar
  • Background in a Supply-Chain environment, an advantage
