We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated On-Call Firefighter to join our team at Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service. As an On-Call Firefighter, you will play a vital role in responding to emergency situations and engaging with your community.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to emergency calls and engage in firefighting and rescue operations
- Participate in community fire safety initiatives and education programs
- Collaborate with other emergency services and stakeholders to ensure effective response and recovery
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including rapid response to emergency situations
To be eligible for this role, you must be able to work and/or live within 5 minutes of the East Cowes Fire Station. You will also need to meet the physical fitness requirements of the role and be able to pass a Standard DBS Check.
