The Role:An on-call firefighter is a paid employee who responds to emergencies and engages with the community. They have everyday lives until their pager sounds, then they become professional firefighters.
This role is not just about fighting fires; it involves a wide range of situations, including community fire safety, flooding, co-responding, road accidents, and chemical spills.
You don't need previous experience, as we provide a comprehensive training programme. What's important is that you're enthusiastic and can meet certain essential requirements.
Please note: To be eligible to apply, you must work and/or live within 5 minutes of the Fire Station.
