Primary School Educator

New Directions Education is seeking a dedicated and versatile Primary Teacher to join our team. As a Primary Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with various classes in Primary Schools in Pembrokeshire, covering a range of age groups from Nursery to Year 6.
We are experiencing a surge in demand for Primary Teachers, and we can offer you work in as many schools as you wish. Our Primary Teacher roles involve covering classes in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
Key Responsibilities:- Teach all areas of the school curriculum
- Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
- Plan, prepare, and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
- Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
- Maintain discipline
- Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development
- Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
- Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
- Liaise with colleagues and work flexibly, particularly within smaller schools

As a Primary Teacher with New Directions Education, you will have access to outdoor learning spaces and full use of school resources. In the majority of classes, you will have Learning Support Staff to support with the delivery of lessons. During long-term/regular placements, you will also receive in-house training with the schools and benefit from attending Inset and after-school meetings.
