Overview

This internship position within Crédit Agricole CIB's Loan Syndication department offers a unique opportunity to engage with teams located in major financial hubs, including London, Paris, New York, and Hong Kong. The selected intern will support the Credit Risk Insurance (CRI) team in various capacities.

Key Responsibilities

The intern will assist the Credit Risk Insurance team with the following tasks:

  • Monitoring weekly CRI activities using a variety of internal and external tools such as Pipeline reports, DebtDomain, Salesforce, ClientLive, Loantracker, and Radar.
  • Preparing monthly reports on CRI and Surety exposure.
  • Compiling monthly activity and P&L reports related to CRI and Surety, focusing on volume metrics, PI & RWA impact, and various KPI monitoring.
  • Creating internal and external presentations.
  • Collaborating with deal teams and brokers on specific CRI opportunities.
  • Supporting team members in maintaining confidentiality.
  • Assisting in the review of policies and premium schedules.

Ongoing Responsibilities

The intern will also engage in:

  • Regular communication with team members based in different locations.
  • Documenting call reports and meeting minutes.
  • Utilizing Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for presentations and pitches.

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities

The intern is expected to:

  • Adhere to all relevant legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements, including the London Compliance manual and the Financial Crime Policy.
  • Maintain the necessary knowledge to fulfill the role effectively and complete all mandatory training to ensure competence.
