Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Psychology Graduate to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students with Autism, providing individualized support and guidance to help them succeed in their academic and personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with Autism, helping them to develop their learning skills and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Assist students with their transition into secondary education, helping them to adjust to new routines and expectations.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being among students.

Requirements:

  • Psychology Graduate with a strong understanding of Autism and its impact on learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of students.
  • Knowledge of child development and learning theories, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive daily rate of £100 (inclusive of holiday pay), paid via PAYE on a weekly basis.
  • A long-term contract from September 2024, providing stability and security for the right candidate.
