Job Title: Control of Contractors

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Control of Contractors Coordinator to join our team at ISS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and successful management of all subcontractor works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective subcontractor prequalification processes to ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and approve subcontractor risk assessments and method statements to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Deliver comprehensive subcontractor inductions to ensure all personnel are aware of company policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with subcontractor groups and key stakeholders to ensure timely issue of work authorisations and permits to work.
  • Plan and prioritise works in collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all relevant subcontractor H&S information is proactively obtained and thoroughly reviewed.
  • Audit and inspect subcontractor works to ensure adherence to procedural and legislative requirements.
  • Report, investigate, and drive corrective/preventative actions in instances of subcontractor violations and non-conformances.

Requirements:

  • IOSH certification and experience in the built environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
