Position Overview

We are seeking a Regional Sales Consultant to enhance relationships with current clients and pursue new business opportunities, particularly within the Building Services Consulting industry by advocating for and securing specifications for FläktGroup products.

Your role will involve acquiring a comprehensive understanding of the FläktGroup Applied Product portfolio along with the services and capabilities we offer. You will be expected to identify appropriate applications for our product range across various sectors and continuously improve your expertise to become a trusted advisor to our clients.

As a Regional Sales Consultant, you will need to stay informed about the various factors influencing your designated area and provide insights to your supervisor regarding local market dynamics, including competition and construction trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate within your assigned territory, collaborating with your supervisor and other sales managers to achieve your annual objectives, ensuring that FläktGroup's business goals are met, particularly in delivering exceptional account management to fulfill order targets, margin management, and customer retention.
  • Maintain an updated project pipeline using our Quotation Management Software (QMS), ensuring timelines, conversion assessments, and project statuses are current.
  • Contribute to the strategic enhancement of the Applications team, assisting your supervisor and fellow sales colleagues in capitalizing on opportunities to promote our HVAC equipment and extensive service offerings to strengthen market presence and share.

Candidate Profile:

  • Possession of an ONC, HNC/D, or a degree in Mechanical/HVAC engineering or equivalent experience in the HVAC technical field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of field sales experience is essential, along with a valid, clean driving license.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary Building Services (HVAC) solutions and design principles is required.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently, effectively managing a demanding workload through prioritization and timely completion of tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels within the organization, with clients, and key stakeholders.
  • Proficient negotiator with solid commercial acumen, capable of overcoming challenges and demonstrating quality and value to clients beyond just pricing.
  • Outstanding presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
  • A collaborative team player who can work independently while fostering opportunities for others through effective communication and support.
  • Experience with product selection tools and the ability to assess outputs to ensure selections and proposals align with customer specifications while optimizing conversion potential.
  • Competent in general IT skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
