Quality Health Safety and Environmental Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Health Safety and Environmental Manager to join our team at Questech Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's commitment to quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Quality and Compliance:
- Develop and implement strategic objectives for the QESH department.
- Ensure all operations consistently meet or exceed ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
- Implementation and Maintenance of EN 1090 EXC Class 2:
- Manage the adoption and sustained compliance of the BS EN 1090 EXC Class 2 standards for steel and aluminium structures.
- Guarantee that all processes and outputs comply with structural component regulations.
- Auditing:
- Formulate comprehensive audit plans.
- Manage internal, supplier, and subcontractor audits to identify gaps and evaluate the effectiveness of existing QESH management systems.
- CAPA Management:
- Develop and administer corrective and preventive actions to rectify non-conformances.
- Ensure continuous improvement across QESH processes.
- Compliance and Monitoring:
- Maintain strict alignment with QESH monitoring metrics.
- Uphold final product quality and ensure adherence to specific legislation.
- Policy and Procedure Development:
- Lead the creation, administration, and maintenance of comprehensive QESH procedures and policies.
- Meet all applicable standards.
- Training and Culture:
- Drive the development of inspection test plans (ITPs).
- Foster a proactive safety culture within the company.
- Equipment Servicing and Inspections:
- Oversee regular servicing and maintenance schedules for all company equipment.
- Ensure high operational standards and prevent equipment-related issues.
- Industry Accreditation Maintenance:
- Continuously maintain and renew key industry accreditations.
- Ensure the company meets or exceeds all standards required for operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
- Travel Requirements:
- This role requires occasional travel within the UK to manage and oversee QESH requirements for various projects.
- Conduct on-site audits, attend meetings with clients, and ensure that all project sites adhere to the rigorous QESH standards.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality Assurance role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of QESH regulations and ISO standards.
- Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate, or NEBOSH Construction Certificate required.
- Full UK driving License.
- Valid CSCS card desirable.
- Responsible Welding Coordinator qualifications are desirable.
