We are seeking a highly skilled Game Optimisation Engineer to join our team at European Tech Recruit. As a Game Optimisation Engineer, you will be responsible for optimising game performance on Android devices, working closely with our development team to identify and resolve performance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimise game performance on Android devices using Perfetto, ADB, and Gradle
  • Develop and implement performance and memory optimisation techniques
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve performance issues
  • Work with profiling tools to analyse and improve game performance
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in game engine optimisation and mobile game development

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of modern C++ and commercial game engine optimisation
  • Experience with Android development and performance optimisation
  • Proficiency in profiling tools and ability to analyse and improve game performance
  • Strong understanding of SIMD, cache coherency, branch prediction, and Data Oriented Design
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with the development team

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with Java and C#
  • Experience with game development and multiplayer games
  • Knowledge of Arm 64-bit architecture and Graphics APIs
