Our client in Thames Valley Park is continuously looking for temporary Video Game Quality Assurance Testers to ensure that video games meet the necessary standards for release.

This role is entirely office-based.

The workplace offers various amenities, including an on-site cafeteria, complimentary parking, and a shuttle service from the town center.

The workload is unpredictable, so there are no guaranteed shifts associated with this position. Candidates must reside within a one-hour commute of the office to accommodate last-minute scheduling changes.

Shifts are assigned with one day's notice, and their frequency may fluctuate weekly and monthly. However, consistent performance in the role may lead to regular shift requests.

As our client operates seven days a week, successful candidates must be available to work on both weekends and weekdays, although please note that the cafeteria and shuttle service are not available on weekends.

Responsibilities include documenting findings and communicating testing outcomes.
Proficiency in computer usage and IT skills, particularly with MS Excel.
Flexibility regarding shift availability is essential.

A passion for video games and game development is crucial for this position, although prior experience in game or software testing is not mandatory.

Candidates must be over 18 due to age-restricted content of the products being tested.
Availability to work weekends (at least occasionally) is required.
Experience with playing video games and familiarity with both current-generation gaming consoles and computers is necessary.

If you do not own a console, you may borrow one from a friend, but we will need to verify your usage during a video call before adding you to the pool.

If selected, you will be included in a pool of temporary workers who are assigned to this role on a day-to-day basis rather than being placed in a specific long-term or short-term position.

Acceptance of offered shifts is not mandatory, but there is no guarantee of being offered any shifts either.

Shifts will be provided based on your availability, current training level, and performance evaluations.

Relocation for this role is not recommended due to the unpredictable nature of shifts. If you are interested, please apply online to be considered.
