About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice Principal to join our Senior Leadership Team at Itchen Sixth Form College. As Director of Finance, you will play a key role in leading our financial strategy and ensuring the effective management of our resources.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of financial management and leadership, with experience of working in a similar role in education or a related sector. You will be a strategic thinker, able to develop and implement plans to achieve our financial goals, and a strong communicator, able to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.

As a member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of our college-wide strategies, and work closely with our Principal and Governors to ensure the effective governance of the college.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our financial strategy
  • Manage and oversee the college's financial resources, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including Governors, staff, and external partners
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of college-wide strategies
  • Provide leadership and guidance to colleagues, including staff development and coaching
