As a key member of the Jackson Hogg team, you will be responsible for reviewing invoice queries and resolving them in a timely manner, liaising with both suppliers and the shared service centre.

You will also assist in the reconciliation of ledger accounts to vendors' statements within the agreed time scales.

Additionally, you will assist with vendor queries and liaise with internal departments as necessary to clear outstanding issues before the next month end.

You will be responsible for maintaining the purchase order book on a daily basis and producing reports as required.

Issuing monthly supplier debit notes for Returns and Quality issues will also be a key part of your role.

You will assist in the preparation of Intercompany account reconciliation in a timely manner to meet month end reporting deadlines.

Maintaining the Month End journal register and journal processing will also be a key responsibility.

You will be responsible for producing PO Accrual and preparing journal entries.

Preparation of prepayments, accruals and ad hoc journals ready for review will also be a key part of your role.

You will complete Balance Sheet reconciliations in accordance with SOX requirements.

Reviewing aged ACP, ACR, Debit notes, GRNI and Purchase orders and clearing where possible will also be a key responsibility.

Ad hoc analysis as requested by the Management Accountant and Financial Controller will also be a key part of your role.

You will process ACR invoices in a timely manner and reconcile entries to the general ledger.

Maintaining manual PO trackers and raising ACR Invoices for trial/ one off deliveries each week will also be a key responsibility.

You will ensure Delivery Summaries' are kept up to date.

Maintaining and reconciling ESS accruals system will also be a key part of your role.

You will report production scrap on a weekly basis.

Maintaining trackers e.g. Utilities, freight, waste etc... will also be a key responsibility.

Assisting with SOX testing will also be a key part of your role.

Maintaining selling price list and updating with any changes will also be a key responsibility.

You will review, improve and document processes within the area of responsibility.

An awareness of general accounting principles is essential.

Experience in an accounts department is also required.

Computer literacy in all MS applications, with an emphasis on Excel spreadsheet, is also essential.

A finance related degree and/or be working towards a recognized accounting qualification is also required.

GCSE grade A-C in Maths and English or equivalent qualification is also required.
