Role Summary:

ADF London is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage quantity surveying responsibilities for our international projects. This role is based in our London office and involves a variety of key tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing daily commercial and contractual activities as instructed.
  • Identifying, assessing, and negotiating changes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supporting the preparation and submission of payment applications to the Employer's representatives.
  • Collaborating closely with the international project team to ensure effective communication and documentation.
  • Evaluating and agreeing on subcontractor valuations and final accounts.

Additional Duties:

  • Engaging with the Employer's representatives regarding all cost and value aspects.
  • Assisting in the drafting and execution of supply chain agreements.
  • Contributing to procurement estimating as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying.
  • Experience in a dynamic, hands-on contracting environment.
  • Proven ability to identify, manage, and negotiate changes effectively.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings.
  • Experience in managing supply chains.
  • Previous estimating experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
