Job Title: Hydrogen Fuel System Lead Engineer

Marshall is seeking an experienced Hydrogen Fuel System Lead Engineer to join our team in Cambridge. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in the innovation and development of liquid hydrogen fuel system solutions for next-generation zero-emission aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership, management, and technical oversight on the design, development, and testing of fuel system components and subsystems.
  • Coordinate with various teams across the project, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, to ensure that fuel system elements satisfy performance, safety, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Address issues that arise during the design and verification phases, apply thorough systems engineering practices, and make informed design and project decisions.
Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge of fuel system engineering principles, practices, methods, and processes.
  • Strong project and risk management skills.
  • Experience in digital design, with proficiency in relevant computer/software packages, to support low-risk design development and validation.
  • Experience in manufacturing of low TRL mock-ups and prototypes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in aerospace engineering or related field, with a focus on fuel systems and technology development.
  • Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating complex projects.
