Job Title: Engineering Manager Hydrogen Fuel System

Location: Cambridge

Technical Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of fuel system engineering principles, practices, methods, and processes.
  • Strong project and risk management skills.
  • Experience in digital design, with proficiency in relevant computer/software packages, to support low risk design development and validation, including IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management tools [DOORS NEXT, Workflow and Test management and Rhapsody], CATIA V5, MATLAB, Simulink and Simscape, Siemens Capital software.
  • Experience in manufacturing of low TRL mock-ups and prototypes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education:

  • Degree level or equivalent in a STEM or adjacent discipline.

Experience:

  • Experience in aerospace engineering or related field, with a focus on fuel systems and technology development.
  • Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating complex projects.
  • Experience in liquid hydrogen fuel system design, development, testing, and validation highly desired.
  • Experience in relevant technology development [TRL3-6] project environments highly desired.
  • Applied experience in developing new supply chains desirable.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £45,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
