Commercial Combined and Property Owners Underwriter

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Combined and Property Owners Underwriter to join our team at Covéa Insurance Group. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for profitably underwriting Commercial Combined on a case-by-case basis within our appetite and underwriting criteria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the commercial lines market, the broking marketplace, and legislation and litigation that could affect the writing of business.
  • Underwrite Commercial Combined on a case-by-case basis, ensuring that all underwriting decisions are made in accordance with our appetite and underwriting criteria.
  • Work closely with our broking partners to develop and maintain strong relationships and achieve profitable growth.

Requirements

  • Strong trading skills with experience in developing broker accounts to achieve profitable growth.
  • Underwriting knowledge, specifically with previous experience in Commercial Combined.
  • Previous Commercial Combined Underwriting experience.
  • Passion for your own development within the insurance industry.
