About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Programmatic Account Manager to join our team at Tribal Tech - The Digital, Data & AI Specialists. As a Programmatic Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing client relationships from a programmatic perspective, planning, activating, optimizing, and reporting activity across various DSP platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy: Set the standard across tactical execution, planning, reconciliation, and all end-to-end processes managed by the team.
  • Client Management: Manage some of the biggest clients in the agency on all things Programmatic, attending initial client briefings and providing feedback early on the planning process.
  • Team Management: Line manager and mentor to a junior trader in the team, responsible for their career progression and training.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date with new trends and innovating within the programmatic sector, ensuring you are pushing for innovation by contributing to wider digital testing roadmaps.
  • Communication: Confidently present analysis, updates, and strategic recommendations in face-to-face meetings, with clients and internally.
  • New Business: Support Head of Programmatic in new business pitches and wider projects.
  • Quality Assurance: Be accountable for best-in-class work delivered on your accounts.
  • Campaign Alignment: Collaborate with the digital planners to ensure the campaign is aligned with all other channels.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate diligence, attention to detail, and adherence to the campaign QA process to ensure accurate campaign implementation, pacing, and performance.
Requirements
  • Roughly 4 years of experience in a Programmatic planning and buying role (agency or trading desk), with a proven ability to deliver successful large-scale Programmatic Campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience working in various DSPs, activating across a range of channels, including video, YouTube, and display.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the ad tech landscape.
  • Strong experience of critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Strong interest and knowledge in the Programmatic landscape.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of technology platforms and integration.
  • Great communicator, both verbally and written, confident in front of clients with the ability to understand their wider business and challenges.
  • Ability to anticipate issues and be proactive in producing solutions with measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Solid understanding of all media channels.
