Parking Appeals Officer

Job Summary:
Carrington West is seeking a highly skilled Parking Appeals Officer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Parking Appeals Officer, you will be responsible for investigating parking appeals and representations, enforcing PCNs (penalty charge notices) where applicable, and managing statutory and non-statutory complaints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigating parking appeals and representations: You will be responsible for reviewing and investigating parking appeals and representations issued to the public, ensuring that all cases are handled fairly and in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Enforcing PCNs: You will be responsible for reviewing and enforcing PCNs where applicable, ensuring that all necessary procedures are followed and that all relevant parties are notified.
- Managing statutory and non-statutory complaints: You will be responsible for managing statutory and non-statutory complaints via telephone, email, and post, ensuring that all complaints are handled promptly and fairly.
- Liaising with external contractors and parties: You will be responsible for liaising with external contractors and parties, ensuring that all necessary communication is clear and effective.
Requirements:
Previous experience in parking appeals is essential for this role. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to have a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations, as well as the ability to interpret and apply them in a fair and consistent manner.
