Job Title: HR & Payroll Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR & Payroll Assistant to join our team. As an HR & Payroll Assistant, you will be responsible for the accurate and compliant administration of payroll, as well as providing support with recruitment and HR duties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the HR system, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Support with recruitment, including advertising job vacancies and screening applications
  • Carry out all administrative tasks associated with new employees, including offer letters, contracts, and reference checks
  • Prepare payroll data and collate variable payments information, such as overtime
  • Create and maintain payroll files and salary information
  • Raise queries and errors, and resolve them in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1-2 years recent experience within HR
  • Experience of Oracle would be an advantage
  • Payroll experience would be ideal, but training can be given
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Well-organized and attention to detail
  • Experience working in a confidential environment
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 0830-1700, with an hour for lunch. The company offers a 4-day week in the office and working from home on a Friday.

This is a temporary role initially, but has the prospect of becoming a permanent contract for the right person.
