Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager

**Job Summary:** First People Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for managing projects across the Central Belt of Scotland, ranging from £500k to £10m.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Project Management:** Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • **Leadership:** Lead from the front, taking charge of the entire project lifecycle, ensuring everything runs smoothly, meets contract specs, and hits deadlines.
  • **Collaboration:** Collaborate and innovate with clients, design teams, and stakeholders to bring project visions to life, tackling challenges head-on as they arise.
  • **Progress Monitoring:** Drive progress by monitoring and managing project milestones, coordinating resources, subcontractors, and materials to keep everything on track.
  • **Contract Compliance:** Set the standard by ensuring all contractual obligations, including quality, health and safety, and legal requirements, are met and exceeded.
  • **Risk Management:** Stay ahead of the game by conducting risk assessments, anticipating potential issues, and implementing proactive solutions to avoid delays or cost overruns.

**Requirements:**

  • **Background:** Strong background in managing groundworks, earthworks, and infrastructure projects.
  • **Qualifications:** A degree or HND qualification in Civil Engineering is preferred.
