About the Role:
As a Registered General Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering individualized care to patients with acute and long-term conditions. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and provide support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Administer medications, including non-IV and IV medications, in accordance with NMC standards
- Monitor patients' vital signs and recognize signs of deterioration
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain professional development
Requirements:
- NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse
- Advanced Diploma or Degree in Adult Health Nursing studies
- Experience in acute surgical settings, with a focus on patient-centered care
- Basic IT skills and ability to use vital signs monitoring equipment
