We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic colleague to join our team at Elysium Healthcare, delivering high-quality clinical services in a 97-bedded all-male unit. Our hospital provides comprehensive care for forensic patients, covering the care pathway from medium to low secure and locked rehabilitation. One of our wards specializes in low secure patients with learning disabilities, while another is a 10-bedded Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

This role is part of a team of four consultants, responsible for the care of 20 male forensic inpatients, with half on an acute admission/continuing care ward and the other half on a quieter, more long-term ward. The remaining inpatients are on a low secure ward for patients with learning disabilities and in PICU and Medium Secure Unit (MSU) conditions. The successful candidate will be supported by a specialty doctor.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for forensic patients.
  • They will be responsible for the care of 20 male forensic inpatients, with a focus on delivering individualized care plans and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with the specialty doctor to ensure seamless care and support for patients.
