Job Title: Clinical Teacher

Join our team as a Clinical Teacher at Kent & Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust, where you will have the opportunity to create and participate in the delivery of mental health teaching to medical students placed within our Trust.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior doctor to take up a Clinical Teacher position within the Medical Education Department. As a Clinical Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering teaching to medical students, contributing to the development and delivery of the Trust's Undergraduate education programme, and evaluating and improving educational programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Director of Undergraduate Psychiatry and departmental educational leads
  • Work with the Medical Education Managers and the Undergraduate Administrators
  • Contribute to the delivery of educational programmes
  • Evaluate and improve educational programmes
  • Support and develop collaborations in education inside the trust and externally
  • Contribute to developing a range of educational materials
Requirements:
  • Full GMC registration and a current licence to practise
  • Experience practicing as a psychiatrist for more than 3 years
  • Experience in teaching undergraduate healthcare students
  • Experience delivering and organising teaching sessions
  • Previous experience in medical education
