Job Summary

Innovate is seeking a skilled B2 Licensed Engineer to join our team on a 12-month contract. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for certifying line and non-routine maintenance and repair of H135/H145 rotorcraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to our flight operations team.
  • Perform maintenance inspections and repairs as directed.
  • Lead a team to ensure the safe operation of aircraft.
  • Complete maintenance on avionic and electrical systems.
  • Replace avionic line-replaceable units and conduct serviceability tests.
  • Supervise avionic and electrical fitters and certify their work.
  • Conduct avionic and electrical technical work in the workshop.
  • Assist with aircraft movement and general hangar duties.

Required Knowledge, Qualification and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of helicopter avionic and electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with specialized avionic and electrical test equipment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of CAA regulations, especially Part 145 and Part M CAM.
  • Flight/Airport Operations.
  • Aircraft Line Maintenance.
  • CAA Part 66 B2 Licence.
  • At least 3 years in a certifying role.
  • Experience with Flight Operations and Line Maintenance.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and MFTS.
  • Experience with SAP and ERP software.
  • Type Rating and experience with H135/H145.
  • Experience with Airbus Helicopters products.
  • Military Aviation experience.
