We are seeking a skilled B2 Licensed Engineer to join our client on a 12 month contract where you’ll be responsible for certifying line and non-routine maintenance and repair of H135/H145 rotorcraft. Type training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support to Flight Operations.
- Perform maintenance inspections and repairs as directed.
- Lead a team to ensure the safe operation of aircraft.
- Complete maintenance on avionic and electrical systems.
- Replace avionic line-replaceable units and conduct serviceability tests.
- Supervise avionic and electrical fitters and certify their work.
- Conduct avionic and electrical technical work in the workshop.
- Assist with aircraft movement and general hangar duties.
Required Knowledge, Qualification and Skills:
Essential:
- Strong knowledge of helicopter avionic and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with specialized avionic and electrical test equipment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of:
- CAA regulations, especially Part 145 and Part M CAM.
- Flight/Airport Operations.
- Aircraft Line Maintenance.
- CAA Part 66 B2 Licence.
- At least 3 years in a certifying role.
- Experience with Flight Operations and Line Maintenance.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and MFTS.
- Experience with SAP and ERP software.
- Type Rating and experience with H135/H145.
- Experience with Airbus Helicopters products.
- Military Aviation experience.
