Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant

Location: Southport (Hybrid - Minimum 2 Days Working from Home)

Salary: £30,000-£32,000pa + company benefits

Company: Leading Construction Firm

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our dynamic team in Southport. This hybrid role offers flexibility, with at least two days working from home, while providing the opportunity to develop your career within a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support month-end processes, including journal postings and variance analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and contribute to financial reporting and analysis for the business
  • Provide support in ad-hoc finance projects as required
Requirements:
  • AAT Level 3 qualified or higher
  • Currently studying or willing to study towards CIMA (study support will be provided after probation)
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential
