Shift Time: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
Pay Rate: $17 hourly

Overview:

The Assembler is responsible for executing a variety of mechanical assembly tasks to construct both large and small components in accordance with specific guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assembly rework and inspection during the production of completed items.
  • Employ hand tools, fixtures, pneumatic equipment, manual presses, and power tools for the assembly of components.
  • Adhere to verbal and written work instructions, bills of materials, and complex assembly blueprints.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to confirm assembly functionality and performance.
  • Manage materials required for the assembly process.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and workspaces.
  • Comply with established procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work under supervision and undertake additional tasks as directed by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or equivalent training.
  • Ability to perform various assembly and soldering tasks manually.
  • Good manual dexterity for handling small components.
  • Capability to interpret blueprints.
  • Basic computer proficiency.

Additional Attributes:

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Physical capability to lift weights ranging from 20-50 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. consistently.
  • Ability to remain standing or seated for extended periods, up to 8 hours daily.
  • Strong manual dexterity and visual acuity.
  • Experience with various tools including hand tools and calibrated measuring devices.
  • Potential exposure to industrial cleaning agents and oils.
