Job Title: Security Officer - Public Safety Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Security Officer to join our team at ABM. As a Security Officer, you will be the public face of our Security Team, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and visitors. You will be the first point of contact for any security-related issues and will be responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Public Safety and Security: Patrol the centre to prevent and detect crime, and to ensure the safety and security of clients and visitors.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Incident Management: Manage incidents and emergencies in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to resolve the situation.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and clients to ensure that all security-related issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
  • Training and Development: Complete all training requirements as requested by line manager, and participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Security Qualifications: Hold a valid SIA badge (Security Industry Authority) and have a good understanding of security procedures and protocols.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and clients.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team, providing support and assistance to colleagues as needed.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
