Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Wright Staff. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out maintenance activities to equipment, site processes, and services in-line with manufacturers' and legal recommended intervals and standards.
- Ensure that the service supplied is to the highest possible standard and fits with production needs and requirements.
- Promote the use of best-practice maintenance system tools, machine setup, and techniques, ensuring they are applied in a safe way.
- Comply with all H&S requirements and benefits the company performance in the areas of Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
- Actively support continuous improvement and safety activities.
- Time-served apprenticeship with practical experience (minimum 5 years post-completion of apprenticeship) in a manufacturing environment, packaging, FMCG, or automotive.
- Minimum C&G craft qualification - mechanical or mechanical/electric. Target ONC mechanical or mechanical/electric qualifications.
- PC literate.
- PLC and Pneumatics control experience.
- Good communication skills and attitude.
- Practical approach to modern problem-solving tools and techniques.
