We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Team Leader to oversee the provision of cleanliness across our property portfolio. As a key member of our Facilities Services team, you will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, and developing staff performance to support the Company's operation.
Working closely with the Facilities Services Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of cleaning services, ensuring that work is completed in a timely manner and to a high standard. All cleaning tasks will be monitored to ensure compliance with Health and Safety guidelines.
The night shift follows a 7on/7off pattern, with a working week that runs Monday to Sunday, followed by a full week of 7 nights off. A typical night shift will require you to work Monday 18:00 – 03:30 and Tuesday to Sunday 18:00 – 03:00.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake weekly stock checks to ensure adequate supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow agreed cleaning policies and procedures to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and adhere to Health and Safety guidelines.
- Communicate issues and concerns to the line manager to ensure prompt resolution and maintain a positive working relationship.
- Review and improve own team's work practices and environment to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain a flexible approach to work to accommodate changing priorities and deadlines.
- Store and use chemicals in a safe manner, adhering to all relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Follow all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with the recruitment of new team members to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Professional cleaning experience with a flexible approach to work.
- Full understanding of COSHH and Health and Safety guidelines.
- Experience in the performance and development of staff, including objective setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Efficient and effective team management skills.
- Competent IT skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently.
