Overview:

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement proactive Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules and coordinate the maintenance team for scheduled tasks
  • Oversee maintenance, servicing, and commissioning operations
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks
  • Diagnose root causes of machinery failures
  • Execute safety inspections and regular maintenance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols among staff
  • Plan and allocate resources including personnel, materials, and technical assistance
  • Achieve manufacturing targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Deliver consistent updates on all engineering operations
  • Investigate failures and propose sustainable solutions
  • Assist in projects requiring engineering expertise
  • Engage in hands-on tasks to minimize plant downtime
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Completed apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Proficient understanding of injection molding machinery and automation
  • Experience with PLCs, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation systems
  • Demonstrated experience in people management
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Self-driven and collaborative team member
