Join Our Team as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team at Parker Smith Inclusion. As an HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in our ASD-specialised school.

About the Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our teaching staff to provide individualised support to students with complex needs. Your role will involve planning and leading interventions, supporting students with SEMH, Autism, and other SEND requirements, and building strong relationships with our students and their families.

Requirements
  • Experience of working with young people with SEMH, Autism, and other SEND requirements
  • HLTA or Tutor experience, with a focus on leading small groups
  • Ability to build strong and meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families
  • A passion for working with young people with SEND
