Job Title: Apprentice Highways Project Manager

Avaloq is seeking a skilled Highways Project Manager to join our Core platform team. As a key member of our team, you will oversee internal projects of change that support our market-leading global clients, providing both internal and external exposure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, monitor, and deliver priority projects within the CTO organization, focusing on R&D portfolio projects, regulatory, and innovation initiatives.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with internal stakeholders, regional stakeholders, clients, and other teams.
  • Coordinate resource allocation across multiple projects to maximize efficiency and minimize bottlenecks.
  • Manage scope and quality in alignment with senior stakeholders, identifying and mitigating risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide weekly status updates to Avaloq top management and lead a cross-divisional project team.
  • Bridge the gap between product vision and delivery-oriented approach, ensuring deadlines are met according to the project timeline.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, regularly reviewing Estimate To Complete (ETC) to ensure alignment with project progress.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of Project Management for technical cross-functional projects at a senior level, with experience in IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and/or BPaaS concepts.
  • Strong results-driven background in complex international, diverse, and agile-driven environments.
  • Experience managing end-to-end execution of complex programs spanning multiple engineering teams through the software project lifecycle.
