Job Overview
This role is dedicated to providing essential health care assistance to children and adolescents with intricate medical needs, ensuring their well-being and facilitating their engagement with educational activities.
The ideal candidate will possess the skills necessary to perform daily living support tasks, which may encompass tracheotomy management, suctioning, catheter care, assistance for children requiring oxygen therapy, and the implementation of tailored feeding regimens.
Additionally, you will be responsible for offering support and direction to other staff members in executing specific health-related tasks.
Collaboration with school leadership and external health partners will be crucial to guarantee that the ongoing health requirements of children are adequately addressed and to guide the formulation of health support strategies.
Strong communication and organizational abilities are essential, along with prior experience in educational or care settings.
Membership in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be a prerequisite upon appointment. Please be aware that successful candidates will be responsible for the costs associated with their PVG Membership or Scheme Checks.
