Position: HVAC Technician

Location: Hertfordshire & Surrounding Areas, Occasionally London

Compensation: £38,000-£42,000 (Based on experience)

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Role Overview:

The HVAC Technician will be tasked with executing scheduled maintenance, responding to service requests, addressing breakdowns, and diagnosing issues on VRVs, VRFs, split systems, and multi-split units within commercial settings.

This position requires travel across Hertfordshire and nearby regions, with occasional trips to London.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on VRFs, split-type air conditioning systems, and refrigeration equipment in commercial environments.
  • Project Engagement: Occasionally participate in various HVAC projects, from installation to testing and commissioning, adhering to established timelines.
  • Documentation: Complete necessary commissioning documentation.
  • Material Oversight: Manage the distribution and secure storage of materials on-site, reporting any defects or shortages.
  • Technical Guidance: Offer technical support and advice to clients on-site as required.

Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Must hold C&G Level 2 Fgas and ODS Regulations: Cat 1 certification.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience post-qualification as an HVAC service, breakdown, and repair technician.
  • Skills: Strong diagnostic skills, effective organizational abilities to meet deadlines, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Driving Requirements: A valid UK driving license is mandatory.
