Your Role:

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will serve as the primary contact for post-design technical inquiries, providing support to our colleagues in the industry and our clients. A crucial aspect of this position involves collaborating with Systems Engineering to identify and transition appropriate work packages from Systems Engineering to Technical Support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer technical guidance to the broader team to ensure that challenges and risks are effectively managed, providing assistance as needed.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across the project (including systems, mechanical, software, safety, etc.) to devise optimal solutions.
  • Identify and facilitate the transition of product support work packages from Systems Engineering to Technical Support.
  • Assist in the preparation of bids and estimates within the product support domain.
  • Track the progress of work against budget, timeline, and performance metrics.
  • Contribute to the development of the team, including mentoring junior staff, suggesting and implementing improvements, and reviewing peer work.
  • Lead or engage in troubleshooting activities, technical investigations, reviews, and enhancement projects.
  • Coordinate with the Service Delivery Manager to comprehend the requirements of our clients.

About You:

  • Experience throughout the entire product lifecycle, from bidding and concept development to system integration, qualification, and support.
  • Involvement in establishing policies and guidelines for your business unit or department.
  • Previous experience working with complex engineering systems that support installed equipment.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate will be required to obtain full Security Clearance.
